Site Investigation
CC Geotechnical Ltd has undertaken over 3500 site investigations for public and private sector clients, throughout the UK. These investigations have provided the basis for design of a foundations, retaining structures, deep basements, earth structures, slopes etc., for a great diversity of civil engineering and building projects.
Generally the following site investigation techniques are employed for the majority of projects:
- Cable Percussive Boreholes
- Rotary Drilled Boreholes
- Window sampling and Probe TestingDynamicRotary Drilled Boreholes
- Trial Pit Excavations
Results of site investigations are presented as either factual or interpretive reports with recommendations relating to both geotechnical and environmental considerations. Site Investigation data can be provided in the industry standard AGS format in accordance wth the 'Electronic Transfer of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Data' (3rd Edition) : 1999, Published by the Association of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Specialists (AGS). The report can also be supplied in a fully hyperlinked PDF format on CD-ROM or can be sent by email.
